Three out of four of the IT decisions makers quizzed said they are more likely to base a new virtual desktop infrastructure, or VDI, on Windows 7 as opposed to Vista. Of the 20 organisations questioned, an optimistic 55% said they feel the economic downturn is beginning to improve; 10% disagreed and 35% were unsure.
